A fast-moving theatrical comedy about two nonprofit theater employees tasked with freeing a ghost by performing their way through August Wilson's American Century Cycle. Longtime employee Mara and overwhelmed intern Maisy leap from Fences and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom to The Piano Lesson and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, compressing Wilson's ten-play cycle into an increasingly unruly theatrical ritual. Blending absurd comedy, physical theater, and unexpected emotional truth, the show is both a love letter to Wilson's work and a playful interrogation of legacy and institutional memory. The production stars Philadelphia comedians Zoe Dixon and Nicole Phoenix, directed by Kilo Martin, as part of the 2026 Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
