Chamber ensembles of students attending the Philadelphia International Music Festival, featuring members of The Philadelphia Orchestra, will perform at Stoneleigh in Villanova, PA. The performance will feature five string quartets, a standard chamber ensemble renowned for its rich tonal colors, versatility, and broad range of musical expression. PIMF students come from around the world and have been selected through a competitive audition process, representing some of the finest young musicians of their generation. The festival is directed by Kimberly Fisher, Principal Second Violin of The Philadelphia Orchestra.
