The N Crowd is Philadelphia's longest-running independent short-form improv comedy show, returning to the Philly Fringe Festival for three Friday night performances. The rotating cast creates everything on the spot using audience suggestions, playing games lasting 3 to 5 minutes, similar to Whose Line Is It Anyway. The troupe is diverse in background, age, and ethnicity, with some performers on stage since the show's founding in 2005. Executive Director B.J. Ellis has been with the group since its first show.
