Set amidst the decadence of the 1920s, Chicago tells the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her lover and hires Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her crime into sensational headlines. The touring production stars Ellie Roddy as Roxie Hart, Claire Marshall as Velma Kelly, Max Cervantes as Billy Flynn, Marc Christopher as Amos Hart, Illeana "illy" Kirven as Matron "Mama" Morton, and J. Clanton as Mary Sunshine. With a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Fred Ebb, this six-time Tony Award-winning musical is the longest-running American musical in Broadway history. Directed by David Hyslop with choreography by Gregory Butler, Chicago returns to Philadelphia's Forrest Theatre for the first time since 2009.
