Sankofa African American Theatre Company presents Langston Hughes' gospel musical BLACK NATIVITY, a vibrant retelling of the Nativity story that highlights African American spirituality and oral traditions. Directed by Sharia Benn, the production features musical arrangements by Brian McGrady and choreography by Cierra Woods, showcasing a blend of jubilant gospel music and traditional carols. With performances scheduled from December 6 to December 8, this seasonal celebration promises to offer an uplifting experience for the community. A post-performance discussion will be held after each show to engage the audience further in the themes of the musical.
