Still looking for a New Year's resolution?
Join us, as we start the year off with an intimate evening of female-forward song and a pledge to see more leading roles for women in 2019!
With performances by: Gabrielle Reid (Broadway: Beautiful, Hairspray; Nat' Tour: The Color Purple 17' Revival, Hairspray, RENT; Mamma Mia LV), Georgia Kate Haege (Nat' Tour: Mamma Mia; Backup vocalist for the artist Meatloaf), Sophie Moshofsky (Wolfbane Productions, Fight the Good Fight Productions) and Vanessa Sierra (Fair Moon Stages NJ, Montclair University).
Why more leading roles for women in 2019? New year, not so new problems!
Inspired by some of today's most relevant issues; sexual assault, the gender pay-gap, racial divides, Trans-visibility and of course, our #metoo mocking Commander-in-Chief, our composers (of all genders!) are creating female-led narratives that finally give voice to our shining female performers.
Playing live at the charming Dixon Place Lounge. The lounge is open before, during and after the show, so come early and keep the New Year festivities flowing! Bar proceeds directly support DP's artists and mission.
