The Centre Theater Presents BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, JR. Opens 8/21

The Student Musical Theater Workshop at the Centre Theater proudly presents a delightful production for all. With special arrangement of Music Theatre International (MTI), Music by Alan Menken, Lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice and Book by Linda Woolverton this delightful story comes to life with actors ages 8 - 18. They have worked hard to delight you with their singing, dancing and acting. 

Once upon a time in a faraway land, an Enchantress turns a cruel, unfeeling Prince into a hideous Beast. To break the spell, the beast must learn to love another and earn her love in return before the last petal falls from an enchanted rose.

Brainy and Beautiful Belle yearns to escape her provincial life...and her brute of a suitor, Gaston. However, Belle gets more adventurous than she wanted when she becomes a captive in the Beast's enchanted castle, trying to save her father who was caught in the castle!
Dancing flatware, menacing wolves, and singing furniture fill the stage with thrills in this beloved fairy tale about very different people finding strength in one another and learning how to love.

Performances are August 21, 22,23, 28,29,30. Friday and Saturday @ 7:30 PM, Sunday @ 2 PM. Ages 9 and up tickets are $12 and ages 8 and under at $8. We recommend reserving your tickets.
