Rowan Joseph & Shane Partlow Bring THE QUEEN OF BINGO To Totem Pole Playhouse 7/14-7/26

By:

Did you know that BINGO is more popular than the combined attendance of all NFL, NBA, Major League Baseball, NHL hockey, NASCAR and thoroughbred racing? And, the movie industry sold over $7 billion in movie tickets last year... however; with more people attending Bingo Halls than movie theatres in the United States, Bingo generated $10 billion in annual revenue last year in North America alone.

Get your BINGO face on and get ready to play at Totem Pole Playhouse!

Straight off of their wildly successful national tour, actors Rowan Joseph and Shane Partlow bring the laughter and excitement of The Queen of BINGO to the Totem Pole Playhouse stage. In the tradition of the hilarious Harvey Korman and Tim Conway sketches from the old Carol Burnett Show, The Queen of BINGO visits 'Sis' and 'Babe,' two sisters on the other side of 50, who want to add a little fun and excitement to their lives at their weekly BINGO game. The audience joins in the fun during the "Middle Bird Special" - a real Bingo game where some lucky audience member wins a FREE 10 lb. frozen turkey, donated by Jane's markets of Biglerville & Mercersburg, at every performance. F & M Trust, Chambersburg is the guest sponsor.

Wil Love, veteran actor of Totem Pole Playhouse appears as Father Mac. Carl Schurr serves as the Bingo caller.

"This is a first for Totem Pole", says Artistic Director, Ray Ficca. "It will be great fun having the audience participate in the fun and play along with the actors, as they tell the hilarious and touching story about these two ladies and their passion for BINGO. There will be a special guest BINGO caller for the "Middle Bird" every night to add to the fun.

The Queen of BINGO runs July 14 - July 26. For tickets call 717-352-2164 or visit www.totempoleplayhouse.org. The Playhouse will supply the BINGO cards and guarantee a lot of laughs. The post show discussion for this show will be Friday, July 24th where the audience gets to ask everything they have ever wanted to know about the magic of live theatre.

I Hate Hamlet sponsored by Franklin County Visitors Bureau and featuring Ray Ficca and Matthew Eisenberg continues until July 12.

Tuesdays With Morrie starring Richert Easley and Ray Ficca and sponsored by Orrstown Bank opens July 28 and plays until August 9.

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change sponsored by Patriot Federal Credit Union opens August 11 - 23.
