Photo Flash: ON THE EXHALE Gets Philadelphia-Area Premiere At Theater With A View
Theater with a View, a professional outdoor theatre company located in Pottstown, PA, is preparing for the Philadelphia-area premiere of Martín Zimmerman's On The Exhale. The gripping and timely one-person show, which was originally produced by Roundabout Theatre Company Underground, will be presented as part of Theater with a View's 2018 season from July 11 to 28, 2018 at Sycamore Hill, (481 Ebelhare Road, Pottstown).
When a senseless act of violence changes her life forever, a liberal college professor finds herself inexplicably drawn to the very weapon used to perpetrate the crime-and to the irresistible feeling of power that comes from holding life and death in her hands. Peering down the barrel of a uniquely American crisis, she begins to suspect that when it comes to gun violence, we're all part of the problem.
Theater with a View's production of On The Exhale features Nina Covalesky (TwaV's Rabbit Hole, Detroit, Circle Mirror Transformation) playing Woman. Elaina DiMonaco, widely acclaimed for her directorial interpretations of the one-person shows 2.5 Minute Ride at Theatre Horizon and Bad Dates at Act II Playhouse, will make her Theater with a View debut with this production.
