JIB, the world-premiere rock musical with songs by Amanda Palmer currently playing at the Christ Church Neighborhood House in Philadelphia, is welcoming cast members from the upcoming production of 11th Hour Theatre Company's Lizzie for a one-night-only collaboration on December 15th starting at 7PM.

JIB, the multimedia musical that the Broad Street Review called "an engrossing piece of theater and an excellent excuse to hear some good indie rock music," is the product of the New York-based Old Sound Room and The Windmill Factory. The company has invited Philadelphia artists to perform during an open-mic segment before each evening's show. In the spirit of collaboration that has been a hallmark of the production, the company will be welcoming cast members and artists from 11th Hour Theatre Company's upcoming production of Lizzie, a new rock-opera opening in January at Christ Church Neighborhood House (the same space as JIB). The two groups will join forces on December 15th to perform numbers from their rock retelling of the infamous Lizzie Borden story.

Tickets to the Thursday, December 15 show are $25 ($15 for students) and can be purchased via this link. 11th Hour Theatre Company's pre-show begins at 7PM; JIB starts at 7:30PM.

ABOUT JIB: JIB, a new narrative rock musical, by Michael McQuilken is having it's debut in Philadelphia this November and December at the Christ Church Neighborhood House in Old City. Amanda Palmer (Dresden Dolls) and Jason Webley created the music; Michael McQuilken directs, and the show features an all-star design team and cast.

The play follows the rise and fall of singer/songwriter JIB and a group of strangers who are unknowingly co-composing the same perpetually evolving body of music across time and space. Witnessed and aided by the ghosts that surround and move between them, the characters take the audience on a musical voyage, revealing the invisible strands of inspiration that bind all of us together. Within JIB, there is a play, a rock show, and a live film which is filmed nightly and distributed online. Performances run now through December 17, 2016.
