Known for her powerful and riveting vocals, Symphony Siren and Broadway Diva N'Kenge (Motown: The Musical and Sondheim and Sondheim) makes her debut with the Sophisticated Ladies concert at the Sarasota Performing Arts Center with Tony Nominee Montego Glover and Capathia Jenkins. These three Leading ladies will take the stage by storm with the Philadelphia Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Steve Reineke. Its a one night only event Saturday August 16, 2017 at 8:00PM following a pre-performance talk at 7:00PM with conductor Steve Reineke.

N'Kenge made her Carnegie Hall debut with Steve Reineke and the NY Pops Orchestra in their Tribute to Johnny Mercer concert. They also collaborated together on concerts with the Indianapolis Symphony, Baltimore Symphony and Modesto Symphony Orchestra. "I'm so thrilled to have the opportunity to work again with the Maestro. He's a genius and such a singer's conductor. He makes arrangements that truly allows the voice to soar and has such personality on stage that brings the audience in and makes me as a singer feel super comfortable".

Not to be missed, N'Kenge is known to have audiences rising to their feet once their ears have witnessed this Diva's vocal ability. Opera News raves about N'Kenge's "show-stopping performances". In Sophisticated Ladies, N'Kenge will be singing iconic songs such as Stormy Weather, Zaz Zuh Zaz, One for my Baby and More! The NY Post called N'Kenge "Electrifying" in the role of Mary Wells that she originated in Broadway's Smash Hit Motown: The Musical. N'Kenge made her Broadway debut in Sondheim on Sondheim alongside Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams, Norm Lewis and Tom Wopat which was directed by Pulitzer Prize winner James Lapine. In London, N'Kenge made her West End debut starring in The Genius of Ray Charles. She was hailed by NY Times as "a classically trained diva that can stretch from Broadway, Pop Soul to Opera". N'Kenge starred in the Michael Jackson Tribute Show World Tour and has also been seen as a soloist with Baltimore Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony, Detroit Symphony, and Cleveland Orchestra to name a few.
