Bob Egan announced today the following events for the month of November 2010. All the following events are held at Bob Egan's New Hope -Supper Club and Cabaret, 6426 Lower York Road (Route 202), New Hope, PA.

VARIETY SHOW:  Bob Egan's Showcase Night
DATE: Wednesday, November 3 at 8:00 pm
Tickets:  $10  with a $15 food and drink minimum
DESCRIPTION: BOB EGAN hosts his weekly talent showcase featuring six to eight performers each Wednesday. Piano bar and open mic follows the show in the lounge.
 
MUSIC/IMPERSONATOR:  Steven Brinberg is Simply Barbra 
DATE: Friday, November 5 at 8:30 pm
Tickets:  $30 with a $35 food and drink minimum
DESCRIPTION: Steven Brinberg is the premier Barbra Streisand impressionist, performing his incredible show, Simply Barbra, to international acclaim both on stage and on television as he pays homage to all that is Streisand! Steven does not lip-sync his performances but accurately portrays Streisand with his own voice! Steven Brinberg has appeared as a special guest with Marvin Hamlisch and the Symphony Orchestra's of over a dozen cities across the country and was even hired by Miss Streisand's management to perform at her best friend Donna Karan's birthday party!  With over a decade of performing experience, his amazing show has Mr. Brinberg in demand literally worldwide!

DESCRIPTION: Ann Hampton Callaway is an insatiable creative spirit. As a champion of the great American Songbook, she has made her mark as a singer, pianist, composer, lyricist, arranger, actress, educator, TV host and producer. A born entertainer, her unique singing style blends jazz and traditional pop, making her a mainstay in concert halls, theaters and jazz clubs as well as in the recording studio, on television, and in film. She is best known for Tony-nominated performance in the hit Broadway musical "Swing!" and for writing and singing the theme song to the hit TV series The Nanny. Callaway is a Platinum Award winning writer whose songs are featured on five of Barbra Streisand's recent CD's. The only composer to have collaborated with Cole Porter, she has also written songs with Carole King, Rolf Lovland and Barbara Carroll to name a few.

TITLE: "STARTING HERE, STARTING NOW"
DATE: Saturday, November 13 at 8:30 pm
TICKETS:  $20 with a $35 food and drink minimum
DESCRIPTION: New Hope resident Steve Kolbo makes his New Hope cabaret debut at Bob Egan's New Hope. A native of St. Paul, MN, Kolbo began his performing career in the Twin Cities, but has also appeared in Seattle, New Haven and most recently in Philadelphia.
 
MUSIC/SINGER: Aimee Robidoux
DATE: Sunday, November 14 at 7:30 pm
TICKETS: $20  with a $15 food and drink minimum
DESCRIPTION: A graduate of Temple University, Aimee Robidoux has a strong musical theater background. She is seen regularly on the stage of the Kelsey Theater and at Actors Net; sings with a big band, and performs her popular cabaret shows throughout the tri-state area. Aimee recently performed at the Kimmel Center for 'Sondheim: A Celebration' and again as part of the center's Summer Solstice series.

MUSIC/IMPERSONATORS: Tommy Femia and Rick Skye in "JUDY and LIZA Together Again"
DATE: Friday, November 19 at 8:30 pm
TICKETS:  $30 with a $35 food and drink minimum
DESCRIPTION: Tommy Femia and Rick Skye are teaming up for an evening of "Just POW!" in "Judy and Liza Together Again." These MAC Award winning performers (Best Impersonation) will pull out all the stops, singing classic solos, parodies, duets and just plain whooping and hollering by the greatest mother/daughter team in show biz history.
 
MUSIC/SINGER: Richard Catenacci in "Being Alive"
A musical birthday celebration of seventy years of life, love, and laughter!

DATE: Saturday, November 20 at 8:30 pm
TICKETS:  $25 with a $35 food and drink minimum
DESCRIPTION: Richard Catenacci has been a professional entertainer for more than 60 years. Over the last 20 years, with Bob Egan, his friend, accompanist and musical director, Richard has performed at Odette's,  Rainbow and Stars (NYC) and the Moulin Rouge (Chicago). To earn a living, Richard has a day job as a trial lawyer and has been consistently selected by his peers as one of the "Best Lawyers in America." All of Richard's cabarets have benefited various charities. For Richard's 70th birthday celebration, proceeds will benefit "LifeTies, Inc.", a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which serves all "youth in crisis," including the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and questioning, who are victims of abuse, neglect, and homelessness.
 
COMEDIAN: Judy Gold
DATE: Sunday, November 21 at 7:30 pm

DESCRIPTION: Judy Gold is an Emmy Award winning actress and comedian. She is best known as the star of the critically acclaimed, long-running Off-Broadway hit show "25 Questions for a Jewish Mother" - which The New York Times called "fiercely funny, honest and moving." She was nominated for a 2006 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Solo Performance, and a book based on the show was nominated for the prestigious Quill Award.   Ms. Gold can be seen regularly on HLN's "The Joy Behar Show", ABC's "The View" & Tru-TV's "The Smoking Gun Presents". Ms. Gold was the host of HBO's "At the Multiplex with Judy Gold" from 1999-2009.  Her TV specials include a Wisecrack half-hour comedy special for LOGO, "Comedy Central Presents: Judy Gold" and a half-hour HBO special, in which she received a Cable Ace Award in 1996.  Ms. Gold lives in New York City with her two children. She frequently tours theatres and Comedy Clubs around the country. Her CD, "Judith's Roommate Had a Baby" is currently available on Amazon.com.

TICKETS:  $30 with a $15 food and drink minimum
DESCRIPTION: Judy Gold returns for a second, special themed show for the LGBT community in celebration of the annual Ladies 2000 event being held in New Hope on Thanksgiving Weekend.
