Broadway's Blair Baker (Oleanna, Broadway and Mark Taper Forum), stars in a new one-woman show Big Star California in the 2011 Philadelphia Fringe and Live Arts Festival. Written by Zac Kline (Messed Up Here Tonight). Directed by TRoy Miller (The Tallest Building in the World, The Light in the Piazza).

This one-woman show with a modern sensibility will be presented high above Philadelphia in the Penthouse at the Residences at historic liberty place on the 57th floor. The show will boast panoramic views of Philadelphia.

Resonating with emotional honesty, this moving show follows a young women, Ryan, on a road trip with her boyfriend, Matthew, as they come to an important cross-roads in their relationship. Forced to make tough decisions and examine where they've come from and where they're headed, they take a classic American road trip in the footsteps of Jack Kerouac, Neal Cassady, and all the other great American travelers who hit the road to discover America - and themselves.

Zac Kline's credits include a sold-out run of his site-specific play Messed Up Here Tonight in New York City last winter at Together This Time at the New York International Fringe, Lucille Lortel Theatre. TRoy Miller's credits include The Tallest Building in the World at Luna Stage and many other New York and regional credits.
