B. Someday Productions' presents its Family Theatre Series holiday production, UN VIAJE---A CHRISTMAS JOURNEY. This year's show is a Bi-Lingual, Spanish/English celebration of Latino and American holiday stories and traditions. It is an original script, and features the talents of two professional bi-lingual actors- Anjoli Santiago and Victor Rodriguez and two young Kensington actors from B. Someday's School of Acting program.

"At B. Someday, we want our theatre company to be a part of the community and the community to be part of our theatre; bringing professional talent and local young newcomers together to create a theatrical experience is in keeping with our mission," said Managing Artistic Director Michelle Pauls.

UN VIAJE-A CHRISTMAS JOURNEY is a fast-paced, family-friendly celebration of both the Santa Claus and The Three Kings holiday traditions. And as always, with B. Someday's Family Theatre Series, there will be loads of audience interaction for everyone--young and old.

Meet the modern American family: Marisa and her children Luisa and Kaiser. They are journeying to Abuela's (Grandmom's) in the old country for the holidays this year. What new things about the Season of Giving will they learn? With professional actors Victor Rodriguez and Anjoli Santiago. Introducing Ansil Guzman (17) and James Gribling (10).

Professional Bi-Lingual actor Anjoli Santiago, piloted a theater program with Theater Exile at Norris Square Neighborhood Project where youth used theater as a tool for conflict resolution and created a bilingual play addressing issues of concern. Anjoli is also a poet who was commissioned to write a call to action poem geared towards bilingual youth during the convention of the National Congress for Puerto Rican Rights, which was made into a video and is still used today.

Professional Bi-Lingual actor/singer Victor Rodriguez is a New York City native, raised in Miami, F, and of Cuban ancestry. He has performed extensively in musical theatre, including the Prince Music Theatre, and as a multi-genre vocalist on a regional, national, and international level.

Introducing our young actors: Ansil Guzman (17) and James Gribling (10). Ms Guzman, from the Wyoming section of Philadelphia, is a Junior at Mariana Bracetti Academy. She has acted in the award-winning, Of Mythic Proportions program at her school. She was selected from several students in both her class, and the new Acting for Teens class at Walking Fish. "I am looking forward to acting with people I don't know and I hope the play comes out great!" she enthuses.

James Gribling, a resident of Kensington, is a fifth grader at Hackett Elementary School, and a recipient of an acting scholarship to the Fun with Acting class at Walking Fish. The scholarship was funded by Circle of Hope Thrift Store in Fishtown. Mr Gribling, a natural on the stage, says: "I'm looking forward to becoming a great actor, learning all my lines, and becoming famous one day!"
