Let's set the scene: It's the 1960s. Soul and R&B saturate the air-waves and major record labels like Motown, Stax and Atlantic are churning out incredible dance records, hit after hit, year after year. Aretha Franklin, Ike & Tina, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Martha and the Vandellas, The Temptations and Stevie Wonder are the kings and queens of soul who go on to be legends. Everyone wants to be part of it. No-one can refuse. It's time to get aboard the Soul Train!

Join the irrepressible Stratosfunk for a one-night stand where they have expanded into an eleven-piece band complete with toe-tappin' rhythm section, blistering horn section, a front row of powerhouse vocalists and the ever gorgeous go-go dancers.

Stratosfunk are a stylish high-energy soul band where the music is vital but so are the dance moves and the clothes. Retro moves and grooves go hand-in-hand with virtuoso solos and musicianship which is irrepressible and second-to-none.

"We're all geared up to have ball so we want our audience to feel as if they have stepped back in time to have a brilliant night out at the Regal Theatre," says drummer Dom D'Leno.

The Soul Purpose DJs - aka DJ Agent Double-O Soul and King & Peas - will spin vintage vinyl to get the party started and keep the vibe going after the show.

If you ever wanted an excuse to do the Mash Potato, the Tighten Up, the Boogaloo or just get your Soul Clap on, you need to get yourself on the Stratosfunk Soul Train.
