LA SOIREE Returns to Perth for its Third Season

Direct from London's West End, the award-winning smash hit sensation from FRINGE WORLD 2015 & 2016 is back with a brand new show, in a brand new Spiegeltent, in a brand new location, one week ahead of the official FRINGE WORLD Festival in a welcomed THIRD Perth season.

LA SOIRÉE takes centre stage in the glorious Edith Spiegeltent in FRINGE WORLD's latest hub in the historic heart of Perth at the fabulous Cathedral Square precinct, featuring a cocktail of jaw-dropping acrobats, mind-bending contortionists and thrilling chanteuses, in our hottest line-up yet!

We're thrilled to announce a tantalising roll call of brand new acts and old favourites for our third FRINGE WORLD Festival season in Perth, from 13 January to 26 February 2017. Meet the newest members of our family, with a few additional surprises including the sensational New Orleans songstress ACANTHA LANG, a breath of fresh blue air SCOTTY THE BLUE BUNNY, hula-hooping marvel SATYA BELLA, sultry aerial artist KATHARINE ARNOLD, high-speed skating flash duo LEO AND URSULA making their Australian debut, raucous comedy couple DAREDEVIL CHICKEN, the stunning VALERIE MURZAK with her dazzling contortion and hand balance mirror ball act, and the breathtaking BRET PFISTER, who blends breathtaking physical skill into his exquisite punked-up aerial ballet.

We welcome back to the family much-loved favourites including the Incredible Rubber Man, CAPTAIN FRODO, and Hamish McCann and his sexy pole act. And finally, you've seen the inimitable UrsulA Martinez in all her glory. Now wait 'til you meet her little sister, LILY MARTINEZ...

Biographies of Artistes:

KATHARINE ARNOLD: It's impossible not to hold your breath and stare as the stunning Katharine Arnold graces the stage and soars into the air. There's not much this aerialist extraordinaire hasn't done in her career thus far - choreographer, DJ, creative director, aerial consultant, Madonna's body double, movie stunt performer - as well as working with names as varied as Danny Boyle, Take That and Agent Provocateur.

CAPTAIN FRODO: The son of a famous Norse magician, this wunderkind has graced the stage since he was four. Possessed of an utterly beguiling charm, and famed the world over for bending, contorting and manipulating his body into shapes that are as astonishing as they are unnatural, Frodo is one of a kind. You will never look at a tennis racquet the same way again.

DAREDEVIL CHICKEN: This Vegas couple has charmed crowds in over 36 countries, performing in a legion of languages, sharing love and laughter across the lands with their raucous comedy. Fusing raunch slapstick and 80's pop melodrama, this hilariously unforgettable duo will have your sides splitting with their vaudevillian verve, and matrimonial mischief. Marc and Svetlana (AKA Daredevil Chicken) are proof that what happens in Vegas does not stay in Vegas.

ACANTHA LANG: This sensational songstress hails from hot and steamy New Orleans, home of the Blues. Fresh from the hippest of haunts in New York City with abundant acclaim, this divine Diva will put a spell on you as she wows the crowd with her powerhouse vocals and high octane performance!

LEO AND URSULA: Leandro Zeferino Micaelo and Ursula Nunez have been spinning at G-Force breakneck speed, defying gravity with their gobsmacking, daredevil roller skating act and amazing audiences around the world with their power-packed performance.

Hamish McCann: Hamish McCann has been seducing audiences across the globe with his jaw-dropping pole act since 2009. His late-night cabaret version of Singing in the Rain has acquired a worldwide cult reputation with this extremely skilled, stylish and oh-so-sexy routine which is sure to leave you 'feeling good'...

VALERIE MURZAK: As the Moscow-born daughter of two circus artists, it was inevitable that the gorgeous Valerie Murzak would grow up to be a rhythmic gymnast and acclaimed circus performer, from the age of 6. With gigs ranging from being a Bollywood body double to playing a bodacious villainess in a live "Batman" arena tour, Valerie's remarkable act has dazzled audience members around the world.

BRET PFISTER: Supple, sexy, skillful and stunningly handsome, Bret Pfister's exquisite, punked-up aerial ballet blends the finest of New York's cabaret talent with a cool, new-wave insouciance and awesome physical skill.

SATYA BELLA: The enigmatic Satya has spent the last ten years spinning in circles and taking the hula hoop to the next level. Having undergone elite training with the Beijing Acrobatic School, Satya combines a unique display of beguiling grace, extreme flexibility and high-skilled multi-hooping to gather more than a few captivating tricks under her belt. She's virtually circled her way around the globe, performing in over 42 countries.

SCOTTY THE BLUE BUNNY: The spandex-clad spectacle Scotty sings, twirls and busts really big balloons with his butt. A comic philosopher who's gotten a lot further, for a lot longer, in a bunny suit than a person probably should.
