Her appearance represented a 'coming home' as Harper filmed her show 'Rhoda' on Stage 16, the same sound stage currently occupied by THE TALK on the CBS Radford Lot. The hosts presented Harper with a special bronze plaque to be permanently placed on the outside of the stage in honor of her work.

In an interview on this morning's TODAY show, Savannah Guthrie sat down with Valerie Harper, the Broadway and TV star who has been diagnosed with an incurable cancer.
