Melody Herzfeld of Parkland, Florida, a drama teacher at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, accepts the Excellence in Theatre Education Award during the Creative Arts Awards portion of the 2018 Tony Awards ceremony.

In March, The Studio Theatre Tierra del Sol (806 San Marino Drive, The Villages, FL) will open the fourth and final production of its second season with John Logan's six time Tony Award winning play, Red.

Fan & Friends presents THE KINDNESS PROJECT, a work-in-progress presentation by Mabou Mines' 2015-2016 Resident Artist Chongren Fan, at the Flamboyan Theater at Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center (107 Suffolk St, New York, New York 10002), on Thursday, June 2nd at 5:30pm and Friday, June 3rd at 8:30pm. Zuccotti Park, a new musical with book & lyrics by Catherine Hurd and music composed by Vatrena King about the human side of economics, will be produced by Salgado Productions at the NYC Venus/Adonis Theater Festival.
