Octopus behavior has fascinated humans for centuries; their unique shape and skillsets often provide the inspiration for extraterrestrials in science fiction. New in the world of cephalopod research is the extent to which these intelligent animals are individual personalities – able to recognize faces and interact with other individuals – all of which is an odd adaptation for an animal thought to live an asocial existence. Larkins have released their brand new single 'Not Enough Love' via Good Soldier Records.   The song premiered last night as the Radio 1 'Midnight Drop' on Jack Saunders Indie Show who said, “I went to see them live recently, that's when I understood the potential that this band have, there's a dedication, a following there, and you can't argue… There will be delirium around this band, I mean there kind of already is, I'm talking like weird fan accounts, plenty of memes, and obsessive dedicated fans. The music sounds brilliant boys, congratulations on that one.”

Sick Joy have revealed a brand new video for their single 'Vibe Sucker'. The video comes just ahead of the release of their new EP, Them Days, due September 13th via SO Recordings, followed by an extensive headline tour with dates throughout October and November.

'Singing Revolution' written by Tony Spinosa and James Bearhart, is a musical that focuses on star-crossed lovers against the very real history of the 40-year occupation of Estonia by the Soviet Union. The writers believe the timing to tell this story couldn't be more perfect.

To kick off the album announcement, Starcrawler share the heavy, swinging and brutally catchy “Bet My Brains” alongside its manic and murderous music video. “That song came from thinking about the tunnel people in New York and Vegas and the Catacombs in France, and the underground village of people who live in the sewers of the L.A. River,” says de Wilde. “I was fascinated with the fact that there is a whole other world happening right under our feet.” Guitarist and vocalist Henri Cash adds: “Arrow and I hadn't even talked about it yet, but I'd already written something about the same thing—about how these people's eyes adapt to pitch-blackness, and they end up going crazy from never seeing the sunlight.” Check out the song and the Jellyclaw-directed video below!

The news getting your spirit down? Let Neil Haskell 'Lift it Up' in the latest video from the Singing Revolution studio sessions. The Euro-pop song, written by Tony Spinosa and James Bearhart for their original musical Singing Revolution, is a rousing anthem in which the lead character, Heinz Tamm, rallies his fellow countrymen into celebrating their cultural pride in the face of a Soviet Union occupation.

Today, acclaimed singer-songwriter Brett Dennen has shared the awe-inspiring video for his hit single 'Already Gone'. The video, directed by Craig Allen was created by the creative agency CALLEN. A branding think tank responsible for last years interactive music video for the song Stained Glass for Real Estate that recently was awarded two Webby Awards. The video features 80-year-old Vera, who has a vast bucket list to complete, but has yet to complete it because she's been busy with life's daily tasks and structure. Dennen then steps in and takes over Vera's chores and duties so that she can check off her bucket list. She does everything from skydiving to streaking, with explosions, confetti, and more along the way.
