Forster with book by Marc Acito, music and lyrics by Jeffrey Stock and additional lyrics by Acito. With direction by Scott Schwartz and music direction by Boko Suzuki, A Room with a View runs through April 15, 2012 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. PCPA Theaterfest will present the American Premiere of My Fairytale, a musical about Hans Christian Andersen directed by Scott Schwartz. My Fairytale began previews in Santa Maria August 12 and will run through August 20 before openning in Solvang's Festival Theater running from August 26 through September 25, 2011.

There's a nice 'buzz' generating from a small production of 'I DO! I DO!' in San Diego's Old Globe Theatre, taking place in the new Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre venue. The production happened through an alchemy of perfect timing and availability for everyone involved as Lost in Yonkers, directed by Scott Schwartz was originally scheduled to be the first show in the space. The Old Globe's Louis G. Spisto brought the renovation in on time and in-budget with time to spare and had been talking for some time to both stars, who had expressed interest in the piece, which rarely gets high-profile productions.

Frank Wildhorn's new musical, WONDERLAND: Alice's New Musical Adventure is set to debut in Tampa late this year. WONDERLAND begins performances on November 24, 2009 at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center.
