Well, we did it! Broadway Sessions recently celebrated it's 10th anniversary with a full blown SUPER SHOW! We invited back some of our favorite performers to recreate some of our favorite musical moments. We also had some incredible new memories made! Our All-Star cast dazzled the SRO room. The annual star-studded holiday event SPARKLE: An All-Star Holiday Concert returned to New York City last night, December 3rd, for its 6th consecutive year, once again benefiting the programs and services of The Actors Fund. This one-night-only extravaganza, produced and hosted by TV personality Scott Nevins (Bravo's The People's Couch), took place at The Cutting Room (44 E 32nd St.), featuring a high-wattage star power cast filled with some of today's hottest performers from the worlds of Broadway, television, film and the music industry. Bill Hanney's award winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) presents Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's legendary musical, EVITA. This environmental production, created solely for its unique theatre in-the-round, can be seen only at North Shore Music Theatre now through Sunday, October 8. Executive Producer Jonathan Estabrooks, Tony & Grammy Award-winning producer Van Dean (Broadway Records), two-time Tony-nominated Broadway producer Michael J Moritz Jr. and producer and Broadway orchestrator Charlie Rosen today announced that this past Tuesday, a Who's Who of Broadway, Hollywood, Theatre, Dance, and Music came together at the legendary Avatar Studios in New York City and Los Angeles to record and film a single of the iconic Beatles' song 'With A Little Help From My Friends' to inspire support for the arts in America.

The annual celebration, where men sing songs originally written for women and vice versa offering this audience the chance to see LGBT stories told through the great songs of musical theatre, set a new fundraising record. The evening raised an incredible $480,287 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City. broadwayWorld was there for the special occasion and we're taking you backstage with the stars below!

Today in 2011, Priscilla Queen of the Desert opened at the Palace Theatre, wehre it is still running (currently 415 performances). Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is a musical with a book by Australian film director-writer Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott, using well-known pop songs as its score. Adapted from Elliott's 1994 film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, the musical tells the story of two drag queens and a transsexual, who contract to perform a drag show at a resort in Alice Springs, a resort town in the remote Australian desert. The original Broadway cast includes Will Swenson as Tick (Mitzi), Tony Sheldon, again, reprising his role of Bernadette, and Nick Adams as Adam (Felicia).

After two sold out shows (Ellyn Marie Marsh is: INAPPROPRIATE) at Feinstein's/54 Below last January, Ellyn just brought new show downtown to Joe's Pub. The show, billed 'A Night of Delusions of Grandeur' featured high belting, comedy, popular songs, medleys, musical theater numbers, a lightning round - everything you would want in a variety show about a performer who thinks she's God's gift to mankind. As the lovechild of Nicki Minaj and Ethel Merman, Marsh put on a show not to be missed and you can check out highlights below!

He's had special guests all week including wife Audra McDonald, Nick Adams and Caissie Levy.
