The Skivvies brought their holiday best to Joe's Pub on December 2, with their show 'I Touch My Elf.' The show featured special guests Sierra Boggess, Alice Ripley, Nick Adams, Wesley Taylor, Nathan Lee Graham, Claybourne Elder, Travis Kent, Natalie Joy Johnson, Juson Williams, and Mike Viruet.

Theatre Calgary is preparing to open Mary and Max - A New Musical, the second world premiere of the 2018-19 season, with music and lyrics by Bobby Cronin, book by Crystal Skillman, directed by Theatre Calgary's Artistic Director Stafford Arima, choreography by Jenn Rapp, and orchestrations and music supervision by Anna Ebbesen.

The annual star-studded holiday event SPARKLE: An All-Star Holiday Concert returned to New York City last night, December 3rd, for its 6th consecutive year, once again benefiting the programs and services of The Actors Fund. This one-night-only extravaganza, produced and hosted by TV personality Scott Nevins (Bravo's The People's Couch), took place at The Cutting Room (44 E 32nd St.), featuring a high-wattage star power cast filled with some of today's hottest performers from the worlds of Broadway, television, film and the music industry. The annual celebration, where men sing songs originally written for women and vice versa offering this audience the chance to see LGBT stories told through the great songs of musical theatre, set a new fundraising record. Today in 2011, Priscilla Queen of the Desert opened at the Palace Theatre, wehre it is still running (currently 415 performances). Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is a musical with a book by Australian film director-writer Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott, using well-known pop songs as its score. Adapted from Elliott's 1994 film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, the musical tells the story of two drag queens and a transsexual, who contract to perform a drag show at a resort in Alice Springs, a resort town in the remote Australian desert. The original Broadway cast includes Will Swenson as Tick (Mitzi), Tony Sheldon, again, reprising his role of Bernadette, and Nick Adams as Adam (Felicia).

After two sold out shows (Ellyn Marie Marsh is: INAPPROPRIATE) at Feinstein's/54 Below last January, Ellyn just brought new show downtown to Joe's Pub. The show, billed 'A Night of Delusions of Grandeur' featured high belting, comedy, popular songs, medleys, musical theater numbers, a lightning round - everything you would want in a variety show about a performer who thinks she's God's gift to mankind. As the lovechild of Nicki Minaj and Ethel Merman, Marsh put on a show not to be missed and you can check out highlights below!
