This spring The 5th Avenue Theatre will stage Kiss Me, Kate, the Cole Porter musical inspired by William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Kiss Me, Kate will be directed by Alan Paul and choreographed by Michele Lynch, who both worked on a previous production of the show at Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C. in the fall of 2015.

Tony and Grammy Award nominee Andrew Lippa's new oratorio I Am Harvey Milk had its New York premiere last week at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall. Lippa starred as Harvey Milk, Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth as the Soprano soloist and child actor Noah Marlowe (Mary Poppins, Act One) as 'YoungHarvey Milk.' Just in case Jillian Mueller needs a new dance partner on the DIRTY DANCING: THE MUSICAL tour, I think we've found one. While he's not as tall as Samuel Pergande, he sure has the moves. In a Facebook post, 'Laine Kristina' posted a video of her son Charlie reenacting every move of the iconic routine to '(I've Had) The Time of My Life.'
