In Away in a Hollow, beloved Broadway actress Marian Seldes creates a whimsical world of mystery, comedy and childlike innocence in a magical story about a caterpillar trying too hard to become a butterfly. With a lush musical score by composer Dennis Deal, and a read-along booklet with watercolor illustrations by Broadway scenic artist Richard W. Prouse,  Away in a Hollow is the perfect audio adventure for children of all ages.

Rick McKay has shared another video from his trilogy, BROADWAY: THE GOLDEN AGE. In his words, 'Here is a tribute to my pal Marian Seldes, one of the great actresses of the stage of the last century and well into this one. Marian passed away yesterday, leaving many of us devastated. However, she lived a long, full life and touched many, many people with her work. In her later career she was known variously as "Broadway's Quiet Lioness," "The First Lady of Broadway," or as theater critic Clive Barnes called her, 'America's theatrical diva for our time.' As BroadwayWorld reported earlier this week, Tony winner and premier actress of the American stage Marian Seldes, 86, died peacefully at her home Monday after an extended illness. Earl Weiner, Board Chairman of both The Acting Company and the Theater Development Fund (TDF) will receive the Warburg Humanitarian Award for his outstanding philanthropic endeavor and leadership. According to Barbara Fleischman, Gala Chair, Harriet Harris(Thoroughly Modern Millie, upcoming in Cinderella) and Dr. Kate Levin, Commissioner of New York City's Department of Cultural Affairs, will present the awards; Jim Dale will host, Kate Baldwin (Finian's Rainbow, upcoming in Giant) will perform and tributes will be offered by Angela Lansbury, Kevin Kline, Patti LuPone, Rainn Wilson, Dana Ivey, Hamish Linklater, Joe Dowling, Director of The Guthrie and Michael Kahn, Artistic Director of Washington's Shakespeare Theater. Four hundred guests complete an industry-filled audience of producers, directors, entertainers and other notables including The Honorable Thomas Kean, record producer Clive Davis,director/choreographer Susan Stroman, TV personality Pia Lindstrom, Juilliard President Joseph Polisi, composerMary Rodgers Guettel and The Broadway League's Charlotte St. Martin.
