If you are a regular reader of BroadwayWorld, you should know that the fantastic comedy webseries THE RESIDUALS is currently in pre-production for their second season exclusively here on BroadwayWorld. As part of their preparations, they are in the middle of a KickStarter campaign, and creators Michael Paul Smith and Gillian Pensavalle are thanking their supporters in a pretty unusual way. They are making videos for KickStarter contributors that include classic jokes from a 70-year-old joke book edited by Eddie Cantor. Now where else are you going to get that kind of 'Thank You?' And let's be honest, Gillian's reactions are just as funny as the jokes themselves.

It's ok, admit it, you've been crushing on Jenna Leigh Green since the days of SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH, long before she got entangled with another witch on tour and Broadway in WICKED. Now Green is set to guest star on THE RESIDUALS, BroadwayWorld's newest webseries collaboration.

Last Friday, “musically thrilling” undie-rock, comedy-pop duo THE SKIVVIES returned to 54 Below, this time joined by guest stars including Alice Ripley, Greg Hildreth, Jenna Leigh Green, Patrick Paige, Paige Davis, Justin Guarini, Jason Tam and Patti Murin. Watch clips from their concert here!

Ghostlight, the Musical by Tim Realbuto and Matthew Martin, presented a concert a 54 Below on Thursday, March 6th, 2014. After a sold-out run at the Canal Room, 'The TRL Generation' brought its wildly successful 'Broadway Loves the Spice Girls' concert uptown to 54 Below on January 13th. The 'Girl Power'-filled song and dance extravaganza was musically directed by Benjamin Rauhala, directed by Kyle Fox, and produced by Shoshana Feinstein. In 2004, the cast of the Off-Broadway hit BARE appeared at Joe's Pub in three sold-out concert benefits for BroadwayWorld.com with proceeds going to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

BroadwayWorld.com is very excited to announce that we will be returning to Joe's Pub at the Public Theater in 2014, kicking off a year-long celebration of the community and our 10th anniversary with regularly scheduled concerts, live streams and special events in a BIG way. The concert series will launch on January 20, 2014 with BROADWAYWORLD VISITS OZ, directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and with music direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell. The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) presents Jenna Leigh Green (Wicked, bare) and Darren Ritchie (Wildhorn's Wonderland) in Standby. The show began July 19 at The Romulus Linney Courtyard at The Pershing Square Signature Center and runs through July 28, 2013. On Sunday, July 8th at 7PM at Joe's Pub, an all-star line-up of Broadway veterans and some of the city's best new voices presented "The TRL Generation: Broadway Sings The 90's," a one-night only concert event to benefit 'Broadway Impact.' After a successful year-long run in Hollywood, Calif., Worst Ever Productions presents its first installment of the cult-hit evening of comedy WORST AUDITION EVER in New York City at Joe's Pub - produced by Christine Lakin, Alec Ledd, Daniel A.
