Alex Brightman stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers last night to talk about Beetlejuice the Musical. During the interview, he talks about his special relationship with New York City's Winter Garden Theatre, taking on the mantle of Beetlejuice and his cameo in Documentary Now!

Broadway officially took trip to the Netherworld last night with the opening of Beetlejuice at the Winter Garden Theatre! All throughout opening night, cast member Kelvin Moon Loh showed BroadwayWorld behind the scenes as she took over our Instagram Story. Alex Brightman recently appeared on the Elvis Duran show to talk about his current role in Beetlejuice on Broadway.

It's showtime, folks! The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in this edgy and irreverent musical comedy based on Tim Burton's dearly beloved film. Beetlejuice tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager obsessed with the whole 'being dead thing.' Lucky for Lydia, her new house is haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium, and the biggest sandworm Broadway has ever seen.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical concluded its Broadway engagement at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway at West 47th Street) last night, September 16, 2018. Broadway Sessions recently celebrated the music of award winning composing team Thomson and Desmon. Jeffrey Thomson and Jeremy Desmon are responsible for musicals One Hit Wonder, The Oliver Experiment, Pump Up the Volume and the highly anticipated Nancy Drew. Wonderful writers tend to have some wonderful friends who tend to want to get their hands on their music! And that's a very good thing.

Bikini Bottom came to The Laurie Beechman Theatre recently as we welcomed the colorful cast of Spongebob Squarepants for our 2018 season kick off. The New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players, America's preeminent professional Gilbert & Sullivan repertory company, finishes up its winter season with the final four performances of its new production of The Mikado - tonight, January 6th at 7:30, Saturday January 7th at 2 & 7:30PM and Sunday, January 8th at 3PM at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College (East 68th Street between Park & Lexington Avenues). On Tuesday, September 29, immediately upon completion of filming his starring role on the fourth season of the Cinemax series 'Banshee,' Hoon Lee joined Tony winner Kelli O'Hara and the company, assuming the role of The King, which was originated for this production by Tony Award nominee Ken Watanabe.
