The annual star-studded holiday event SPARKLE: An All-Star Holiday Concert returned to New York City last night, December 3rd, for its 6th consecutive year, once again benefiting the programs and services of The Actors Fund. This one-night-only extravaganza, produced and hosted by TV personality Scott Nevins (Bravo's The People's Couch), took place at The Cutting Room (44 E 32nd St.), featuring a high-wattage star power cast filled with some of today's hottest performers from the worlds of Broadway, television, film and the music industry. On Monday, June 22, 2015, over 25 company members (Broadway, National, International, Asian World Tour, Regional) of the multiple Tony-award winning musical RENT helped celebrate LGBT pride with a special tribute to Jonathan Larson's contributions to the theater and LGBT communities. On hand were special guest speakers and original RENT creative team members Marlies Yearby (Tony nominee, original RENT choreographer) and Billy Aronson (original RENT collaborator). After many sold-out concerts throughout NYC and London (including Birdland, Joe's Pub, and headlining the Songbook Series at Lincoln Center & St. James Theatre), award-winning composer/lyricist Bobby Cronin makes his full-concert 54 Below debut with songs from his musicals: W2ML (under a Broadway option), Sunset City (Running Deer Theatre Lab 2013), The Concrete Jungle (workshop March 2014), Daybreak (London's Tristan Bates Theatre 2012), and 'Til Death Do Us Part (2012 Alec Baldwin Fellowship Winner) on Tuesday, October 29th at 9 PM.

A mix of Broadway stars and indie pop artists can be heard on Kerrigan & Lowdermilk's sophomore album Kerrigan-Lowdermilk Live, due to release on May 21, 2013.

Epic Megalopolis Productions (New York/Los Angeles) will produce a concert reading of Swedish pop band Brainpool's new rock opera JUNK on November 17th and 19th at the National Opera Center in New York City. JUNK will be the first rock opera presented in the new recital hall opened by Opera America earlier this year, a venue dedicated to supporting the creation, presentation, and enjoyment of opera.
