Kasper Holten’s inventive and visually stunning production explores the creative and sensual appeal of one of opera’s most elusive protagonists, and the powerful effect he has on all who meet him.

Multi-faceted vocalist/songwriter/musician/performer/producer and restlessly creative femme fatale Sylvia Black has announced her new album, Twilight Animals (Originals and Covers for Tortured Lovers), which will be released on October 18. Today, she has released the video for the first single from the album “Walking With Fire” featuring Lydia Lunch via Brooklyn Vegan.

On September 19th, the Broadway smash hit ONCE, opens at the Ivoryton Playhouse. On the streets of Dublin, an Irish musician about to give up on his dreams and a beautiful young Czech immigrant are drawn together by their shared love of music. Over the course of one fateful week, an unexpected friendship and collaboration quickly evolves into a powerful but complicated love story, underscored by the most beautiful, emotionally charged music.

THE NUMBERS STATION is coming to theaters on April 26th from Image Entertainment (a subsidiary of RLJ Entertainment). Directed by Kasper Barfoed and written by F. Scott Frazier, the film stars John Cusack, Malin Akerman and Liam Cunningham. Check out clips below!

The Season sees seven new productions on the Main Stage including new productions of Parsifal, Les Vepres siciliennes, and Die Frau ohne Schatten to celebrate milestone anniversaries of Wagner, Verdi and Strauss respectively. Other new Main Stage productions include Don Giovanni from Kasper Holten and Manon Lescaut from Jonathan Kent.
