Paper Mill Playhouse, in association with Michael Harrison, David Ian and Nederlander Presentations, Inc., presents the North American premiere of the hit new musical The Bodyguard based on the Warner Bros. film written by Lawrence Kasdan, with book by Alexander Dinelaris, direction by Thea Sharrock, choreography by Karen Bruce and music direction by Matthew Smedal, starring Grammy Award-nominated and multi-platinum R&B/pop recording artist and film/TV actress Deborah Cox (Jekyll & Hyde) as Rachel Marron with Judson Mills (Walker, Texas Ranger) as Frank Farmer, the bodyguard. 

Paper Mill Playhouse just announced the addition of two Friday matinee performances to its run of THE BODYGUARD: THE MUSICAL due to the show's popularity among ticket buyers. Deborah Cox and Judson Mills will soon lead the North American tour of THE BODYGUARD, which plays first at Millburn New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse. Performances are set to begin Friday, November 25, 2016, for a limited run through Sunday, January 1, 2017, prior to the official national tour opening at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, MN, on January 10, 2017.
