KNOXVILLE is based on James Agee's Pulitzer Prize-winning autobiographical novel A Death in the Family and based, in part, on the play All The Way Home by Tad Mosel.

25 years after the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical production of Frances Hodgson Burnett's classic children's story The Secret Garden, the Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) and the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle co-presents the timeless tale from November 15-December 31 at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW). The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that continued this week, July 28 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11.

Happy Birthday Emily Skinner! Emily Skinner was nominated for a Best Actress TONY Award for the Original Broadway Production of Side Show. Other Broadway credits include the original casts of Jekyll & Hyde, James Joyce's The Dead (with Christopher Walken) The Full Monty, Dinner at Eight (Outer Critics Circle nomination, Drama League Award). Most recently, she starred in the Broadway production of Billy Elliot.

Himself and Nora, directed by Michael Bush, produced by Cherie King and executive produced by R. Erin Craig, is currently performing at the Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane, between Sixth Avenue and MacDougal Street).

On March 10, guests at Paddy Reilly's Music Bar got quite the treat at the venue's weekly open mic. Off-Broadway's HIMSELF AND NORA author/composer Jonathan Brielle and star Matt Bogart surprised them with two songs from the show, which begins this May at the Minetta Lane Theatre. Watch them perform below!

Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner are performing together in NYC for the first time in nearly nine years.  The duo received a Tony Award co-nomination for their role(s) as the conjoined twins, Daisy and Violet Hilton, in the original Broadway production of Side Show; separately, Alice and Emily have starred in numerous other Broadway shows including The Full Monty, Next To Normal, Billy Elliot, The Rocky Horror Show, and many more. Additional performances will take place February 4-6 (7PM) and February 6 (9:30PM) at Feinstein's/54 Below.
