On August 24, 2014, NEWISES closed on Broadway. Exactly one year later, cast members from the hit Broadway musical came together on the stage of 54 Below to reminisce. In the lineup were songs of various music styles, stories and memories of their time with the show. Below, watch as Andrew Keenan-Bolger, the original Crutchie, performs 'Letter from the Refuge'- a song that wasn't added to the show until the launch of the national tour.

Broadway's LES MISERABLES found a perfect, albeit slightly more youthful 'Jean Valjean' as part of its number at BC/EFA's 2015 Easter Bonnet Competition. 13-year-old Joshua Colley (who sometimes plays 'Gavroche') stunned the audience with his pro-level performance of 'The Confrontation' with current 'Javert' understudy John Rapson. Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Sch?nberg's Les Miserables its on its way back to Broadway, beginning previews on Saturday, March 1 at the Imperial Theatre. Two years ago, on September 15, 2011, Newsies, the hit Tony Award-winning 'critics' pick,' played its first performance at Paper Mill Playhouse. Ever since that very first night, Newsies fans, self-proclaimed 'fansies,' have been a cause for celebration, helping to propel the show from a limited regional theatre run to a limited Broadway engagement and then to extend into a record-breaking open-ended run.
