Broadway's most sensational onstage and offstage stars, passionate fans, avid collectors and animated bidders celebrated the biggest day for Broadway fans on Sunday, September 30, 2018, as the 32nd Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction raised $906,825 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Following last night's performance of Anastasia, history was made when the original Anya, Liz Callaway, reunited with Broadway's, Christy Altomare, for a special duet performance of 'Journey to the Past' at curtain call.

Performing together for the very first time, the singing voice of 'Anya' in the animated film 'Anastasia,' Liz Callaway, and the actress who originated the role of 'Anya' in the Broadway production, Christy Altomare, sang 'Journey To The Past' as a duet, arranged by Benjamin Rauhala.

For the launch of the collaboration, Anastasia & ANCESTRY completed AncestryDNA and family research history on the musical's authors, leading actors and producers. What started as a 1997 animated movie with music by composers Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens is now a full-blown Broadway musical that's been twenty years in the making. Last night, Anastasia opened at the Broadhurst Theatre, and after the curtain came down, the company celebrated at the Marriott Marquis. Inspired by the beloved film, the romantic and adventure-filled new musical Anastasia comes to Broadway.
