Rachel Bloom's CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND is all the rage amongst the Broadway community right now for the way its managed to mesh Broadway and television so flawlessly. A live stage musical has always been a possibility, but Rachel Bloom is dropping hints on Instagram that the theory could be brushing against reality very soon (or not so soon).

Musical comedy is alive and well and on network television thanks to the exuberant genius of Rachel Bloom, the Golden Globe-winning star and writer of The CW's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. An NYU Tisch and Upright Citizens Brigade alum, Bloom burst onto the scene in 2010 with several viral YouTube videos-including the Hugo-nominated 'f**k Me, Ray Bradbury'-that established her as a one-woman sketch comedy act and opened the door to television writing.

Tonight's episode of CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND on The CW titled 'Who Needs Josh When You Have a Girl Group?', pays homage to the 90's all-female pop group The Spice Girls in a musical performance entitled  'Friendtopia'. 

On the Season Finale of CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND titled 'Why Is Josh in a Bad Mood?', Rebecca (Rachel Bloom) is hiding a big secret from Paula (Donna Lynne Champlin), which begins to affect their friendship.
