Music Director Rob Berman created Hey, Look Me Over!---a collection of opening numbers, grand finales, and other excerpts from beloved shows that have not yet found a berth on the City Center stage. They include: All American, George M!, Greenwillow, Jamaica, Mack & Mabel, Milk and Honey, Sail Away, and Wildcat.

Joe Sirola, who has been called the 'King of Voice-Overs' - having been heard or seen in over 10,000 commercials throughout his long and fun career - co-starred with the great Jimmy Cagney in his last film (Terrible Joe Moran). Lately, Joe has turned his talents to the New York stage as a producer, and one of his shows is the current off-Broadway hit, CAGNEY. Today, Joe recorded the new radio advertisement for his, and Jimmy's, musical. Below, listen to a clip from Joe's radio spot for CAGNEY!

The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, concludes its 45th Anniversary Season with the New York premiere of the new musical, Cagney, with book by Peter Colley and music & lyrics by Robert Creighton and Christopher McGovern. Performances begin Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 21, 2015 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Today, BroadwayWorld is thrilled to present yet another awesome vintage performance clip as originally seen on watershed TV variety program THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW, this time with a classic George M. Cohan patriotic showstopper from GEORGE M! with none other than its Tony Award-winning original star, Joel Grey.

The cast of the Walnut Street Theatre's production of 'Grease' created a music video to pay tribute to the city of Philadelphia - the birthplace of America and home of the oldest theatre in the country - just in time for Independence Day! Directed and choreographed by Adolpho Blaire, who plays Roger in the production, the video takes viewers on a tour of some of the most famous sites in the city of Brotherly Love including Love Park, Independence Hall, the 'Rocky Steps' at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and even backstage at the 204 year old Theatre. The cast goes sightseeing and eventually dances through the streets to a disco-crazed version of 'Yankee Doodle Dandy' by Paul Jabara. The original tune, incidentally, was sung by George M. Cohan himself in 1904 at the Walnut Street Theatre in 'Little Johnny Jones' before it's opening on Broadway. Click below to watch the video!

In the WBT production of GEORGE M!, John Scherer, as George M. Cohan, is joined by a terrific cast including the 'Four Cohans': Jim Walton as George's father, Jerry, Melodie Wolford of Putnam Valley as George's mom, Nellie and Amanda Trusty as his sister, Josie. George's first wife, Ethel, is played by Laura Schutter and Jeanette Minson is Agnes, who becomes George's second wife. Katharine Heaton is Fay Templeton, Gary Lynch plays Sam Harris, Carol Schuberg plays Ma Templeton/Grimaldi. Check out highlights from the production in the video below!

The Museum of the City of New York (MCNY), presented the special exhibition Joel Grey / A New York Life, examining the enduring impact that legendary actor Joel Grey and his adopted city have made on each other from April 12 - August 7, 2011. Through rare artifacts from his stage and screen career, objects from his personal collection, and his own photography, MCNY offered a unique look at New York through Grey's eyes as well as a visual retrospective of his career.
