TV: Donny and Marie 'A Little Bit Vegas'

Donny and Marie bring their distinctive talents and undeniable charm to Flamingo Las Vegas. These icons of music and television are set to dazzle and delight audiences of all ages. BWW TV's Audra Stafford visited the show in Las Vegas and filed in with this fun segment on the performance!

Presented by Chip Lightman Productions, the 90-minute extravaganza showcases Donny and Marie's greatest hits in a multimedia spectacle presented on a custom-designed stage with multiple video screens and a sizeable cast of electrifying dancers.

Donny Osmond had performed on Broadway prior to 2006 in George M. Cohan's Little Johnny Jones, but his stay was short-lived. All that changed when Donny was invited by Disney to star in the Broadway production of Beauty and The Beast. Playing the role of the villainous Gaston was a change for Donny, who said it was an opportunity for his "mischievous side to shine." After his 12-week run ended, he was asked to return in July 2008 for the final performance as it closed its doors.

Marie Osmond is an American actress, singer, doll designer, and a member of the show business family, The Osmonds. She gained success as a solo country music artist in the 1970s and 1980s. Her best known song is a cover of the country pop ballad "Paper Roses." In 1976, she and Donny began hosting the TV variety show Donny & Marie. Marie Osmond starred in the Broadway musicals The King and I and The Sound of Music to much acclaim.
