Bryan Fenkart of the MEMPHIS tour sings an original single, 'New World,' from his new album, 'Simple & Grey.'

MEMPHIS is performing in Hartford, Connecticut at the Bushnell Theatre until January 15, and on January 10, Fenkart performed the rousing crowd favorite, 'Memphis Lives in Me' on the show Better Connecticut.

The national touring production of MEMPHIS, the 2010 Tony Award-winning Best Musical, kicked off on October 16, 2011 at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN (203 South Main Street) where it will play through October 23. Check out highlights from the tour below!

The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical MEMPHIS launched its national tour Oct. 14, prior to an official opening set for Oct. 16 at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN.

Actor and performer Israel Cortez is becoming quite the YouTube sensation thanks in part to his solo remix interpretation of the powerhouse song 'It's All Over' from the film version of the musical 'Dreamgirls'. Cortez, a La Palma, California, resident, plays all the parts in the song, which is sung by Jamie Foxx, Keith Robinson, Beyonce, Anika Noni Rose and Sharon Leal as they confront Jennifer Hudson's 'Effie'.

Dreamgirls, directed and choreographed by Robert Longbottom, tells the rags-to-riches story of an up-and-coming 1960s singing girl group and the triumphs and tribulations that come with fame and fortune. Cincinnati's Procter and Gamble Hall- Aronoff Center for the Arts will present DREAMGIRLS from June 8 through June 20, 2010.

The premiere of Dreamgirls in Los Angeles last night, March 2, was clouded by friends of Marie Osmond mouring the loss of her son, Michael Blosil, who recently committed suicide. Stars such as Angela Bassett and Nia Long expressed their condolences to the Osmonds on ET.
