Just last night, The Public Theater celebrated its Annual Gala, HAIR TO HAMILTON, 50 Years of Revolutionary Musicals, at the Delacorte Theater. Directed by Daniel Sullivan, with musical direction by Rob Fisher and Nadia DiGiallonardo, the 90-minute concert featured songs from The Public's most beloved and groundbreaking musicals performed by some of the most celebrated voices in theater. Celebrate 60 years of theatre history when Bill Hanney's award-winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) presents a glittering production of DREAMGIRLS, the dazzling Tony and Oscar award-winning musical. With MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL less than two weeks away from starting previews, the cast posed for an extensive photo shoot. The John W. Engeman Theater presents Hairspray, the first show of their 5th Season. Playing now through August 28, 2011. Hairspray is based on the film written and directed by John Waters, music and lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman and book by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan.

Paper Mill Playhouse will present Smokey Joe's Café, directed by Mark S. Hoebee with choreography by Denis Jones. Smokey Joe's Café will run at the Millburn theater from April 7 through May 2, 2010.
