In this episode of 'In Focus', host Eden Lane brings you the Ballet Mistresses of Colorado Ballet's GISELLE. Lorita Travaglia's experience with this classic storybook ballet began with Nureyev and Evdokimova at Berlin Ballet in 1978. Sandra Brown's started at American Ballet Theater in 1988. Both of these incredible women have danced most of the roles form corps de ballet to soloist. Lane learns how this extensive experience helps the young dancers capture the unique spirit of 'Giselle'. The Denver Center Theatre Company's (DCTC) world premiere production of SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL, with book and lyrics by Jeffrey Haddow and music by Neal Hampton, will be staged by Director and Choreographer Marcia Milgrom Dodge, whose recent Broadway revival of Ragtime received seven Tony Award nominations. SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL will receive its world premiere production April 5 - May 26, 2013.
