Lin-Manuel Miranda returns to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to face off against The Roots' Tarik Trotter  in 'The Wheel of Freestyle.' In the competition, each is given three random words they've never seen before, like 'Daenerys Targaryen' and 'Pikachu,' and they must work them all into a freestyle rap. Plus, Lin-Manuel Miranda makes a major announcement about his return to Broadway.

Improvisational hip-hop troup, Freestyle Love Supreme, participated in a virtual round table discussion on Wednesday with Future of Storytelling (FoST), where members discussed their best moments on stage. The group performs at various venues in NYC, and even appears on the Pivot Network in a ten-episode series that exposes the nation to the much talked about live show. On stage, five performers, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Chris Jackson, Chris 'Shockwave' Sullivan, Andrew Bancroft, Arthur Lewis, and Bill Sherman, take the crowd on a non-stop hip-hop improv ride, spinning cues from the audience into instantaneous riffs and fully realized musical numbers.

Tonight, March 8, an original special Freestyle Love Supreme airs on Pivot at 10pm ET. The high-energy, completely improvised hip hop show, from the two creators of the award-winning Broadway hit 'In the Heights,' was filmed Thursday night in NYC. On December 16th, Broadway star, Saycon Sengbloh (Motown The Musical / Fela), released her new single, Be Here, from her upcoming album. After an exclusive performance of the song at Drom in New York City, Saycon released the song via digital outlets such as iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby, and sold physical copies at her show. On Thursday May 22, 2008 the 54th annual Broadway Softball league opened their season at the Heckscher Fields in Central Park. Participating this year for the opening day festivities were Chris Jackson (In The Heights), Jenna Russell (Sunday in the Park With George) and George Wendt (Hairspray). The day celebrated not only the beginning of the season and but also included an appearance by Bob Davis who presented a check for $50,000 to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids on behalf of Michelob Ultra, the official sponsor of the 2008 Broadway Softball Season.
