Los Angeles-based producer, composer, pianist, DJ, and vocalist Taylor McFerrin released the video for his song “Love and Distance,” off of his new album Love's Last Chance. Billboard praised “Love and Distance,” saying it “meets at the intersection of R&B, progressive jazz, funk and electronic music, and sonically, the track flawlessly exemplifies his take on this hybridization.” Love's Last Chance has also been praised by NPR, Exclaim!, Earmilk, Okayplayer, KEXP, All Music, Glide, The New York Times, Hypebeast, Paste, and Pitchfork who said the album “emotes nostalgic feelings over self-produced backdrops with the detectable influence of late-'80s UK soul... at times conveying the same moodiness as Dev Hynes' Blood Orange.”

Jazz and the Philharmonic was presented and filmed at the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center on January 11, 2013 and is a unique and wholly American concert experience which highlights two of the greatest musical art forms, classical and jazz.
