It's time to seize the day because we're celebrating the birthday of Broadway's original Crutchie from Newsies, Andrew Keenan-Bolger! In honor of the occasion, we're throwing it back to the hit show's opening night with Andrew alongside his co-stars Jeremy Jordan, Ben Fankhauser, Kara Lindsay, and more! Check out all the footage below to watch what happens!

Hartford Stage will present The Flamingo Kid, which closes the 2018-19 season. Performances for The Flamingo Kid begin on Thursday, May 9, and run through Sunday, June 9.

On this day in 2012, Newsies seized the day on opening night at the Nederlander Theater!

Tony-nominated Taylor Louderman (Mean Girls) and YouTube Sensation Natalie Weiss join forces on "Break from the Line," an empowering single written by songwriter Joey Contreras and co-arranged by Weiss. The music video features the two stars belting and having fun at a NYC recording studio. 

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Three Points of Contact, a new conceptual album featuring songs from a musical of the same title by Ryan Scott Oliver, will be released in mid-February via Spotify, Apple Music, and all streaming platforms.

Broadway Loves Demi Lovato! See Broadway stars like Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Jennifer Damiano (Next to Normal), Natalie Weiss (Wicked) sing some of Demi's hottest hits at Feinstein's/54 Below. From the 2008 Camp Rock bop 'This Is Me' to the title song of her newest album Tell Me You Love Me, this set list bounces all over Demi's discography.

Natalie Weiss joined Ben Fankhauser at his show at Feinstein's/54 Below on Tuesday night, January 30th. The pair teamed up for an epic mashup of 'You Will Be Found' from Dear Evan Hansen and 'Halo' by Beyonce. Watch the number below, including beautiful harmonies and Fankhauser on piano!

Conceived, written, and directed by Jay, and backed by an 8 piece band led by Rodney Bush, Jay will be joined by a slew of Broadway talent including Alysha Umphress (On the Town), Major Attaway(Aladdin), Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Julia Mattison (Godspell), Danny Quadrino (Wicked), Kerstin Anderson (Sound of Music), Katie Thomson (Giant), and a cast of many more crazy and kooky characters.

Newsies forever, second to none! Disney Theatrical Productions, along with former Newsies cast members Jack Sippel, Tommy Bracco, Iain Young, and Jordan Samuels, have just announced that the live Fathom production of Newsies will be released digitally on May 23 in a special video below!

Captured live at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre earlier this year, the event features Jeremy Jordan, reprising the role he created as 'Jack Kelly.'
