George Clooney's upcoming film adaptation of the off-Broadway play Farragut North, entitled Ides of March, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Giamatti, Ryan Gosling, Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood will open the Venice Film Festival on August 31. The movie will be released in theatres on October 14, 2011, and the first trailer for the film has just been released. Check it out by clicking below!

The Druid and Atlantic Theater Company production of Martin McDonagh's darkly humorous 'The Cripple of Inishmaan' just opened at the Center Theatre Group/Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City. The darkly humorous piece, directed by Druid's Artistic Director and Tony Award- winner Garry Hynes, has been receiving critical praise as the production tours across the country. Television star Kate Walsh ('Private Practice,' 'Grey's Anatomy'), now making her Off- Broadway debut in Stephen Belber's world premiere play DUSK RINGS A BELL at Atlantic Theater Company, appeared on NBC's 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' this week.

Following the record-breaking and critically acclaimed engagement of 'American Idiot' at the Berkeley Rep, the production is now Broadway-bound. 'American Idiot' will begin previews in March 2010 and open on Broadway in April at the St. James Theatre. The Broadway cast will be announced shortly.

BWW TV caught all the action as the show's creators discussed the story, the acclaimed cast sang the songs and audience learned more about the sensation that is Spring Awakening.
