Tony Award-winning Broadway actress Alice Ripley (Next to Normal) leads the cast of CARRIE the musical, October 11-26, 2013, at the historic Moore Theatre, also featuring fellow Broadway alumni Kendra Kassebaum (Wicked) andKeaton Whittaker (A Little Night Music), and directed by Broadway alum Louis Hobson (Next to Normal). Lee (Dexter) and Van Hughes (American Idiot: The Musical, national tour) as rock legend Kurt Cobain/Nirvanov. Kirsten Delohr Helland and Williams A. Williams perform 'Faded and Jaded' from the show. Today in 2009, Next to Normal opened at the Booth Theatre, where it ran for 733 performances. Next to Normal is a rock musical with book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey and music by Tom Kitt. Its story concerns a mother who struggles with worsening bipolar disorder and the effect that her illness has on her family. The musical also addresses such issues as grieving a loss, suicide, drug abuse, ethics in modern psychiatry, and suburban life. It was nominated for eleven 2009 Tony Awards and won three, Best Original Score, Best Orchestration and Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for Alice Ripley. It also won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, becoming just the eighth musical in history to receive the honor.

Sing Along, the short film musical with an all-star cast, has released its official trailer online. The movie centers on an introverted young man who escapes trepidation by envisioning his life in New York City as a musical. Watch the trailer below!

Tony Award winner Alice Ripley stars in 'Isn't It Delicious,' alongside Keir Dullea, Mia Dillon, Kathleen Chalfant and Malachy McCourt. The film is 'Isn't It Delicious' is described as a black comedy about a loving but dysfunctional Catholic, upper-middle-class family gathering after it learns its controlling matriarch is dying of cancer. The performance from the cast of LES MISERABLES began with Hugh Jackman taking the stage to perform the new original song 'Suddenly' from Tom Hooper's adaptation, where he was then joined by Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Samantha Barks, Aaron Tveit, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen and Eddie Redmayne - as well as numerous members from the show's various productions - to perform the Act One Finale 'One Day More', while Anne Hathaway will sing a section of 'I Dreamed A Dream'.
