The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director) and 1113 Productions (Steven Ullman, Executive Producer) opened the World Premiere of Falling for Eve, a new musical with book by Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro (Memphis), music by Bret Simmons ('The Megan Mullally Show') and lyrics by David Howard (Galaxy Quest) on July 15. STAGE TUBE: UPRIGHT CABARET SINGS: Adam Lambert - 'How Come You Don't Call Me'

The Los Angeles based Lambert found a creative 'home' at West Hollywood's Upright Cabaret at Mark's Restaurant. The AMERICAN IDOL standout spent many an evening crooning songs in that expressive voice of his on the Upright Cabaret stage, and a few special performances were captured on film. In this recording Adam Lambert performs Prince's How Come You Don't Call Me which brought the audience to their feet.

In celebration of the show and its history making run, we gave the cast a portable FLIP video camera so they could give us their view of life backstage. As they were able to film themselves, the FLIP video footage allows you to see and hear Rent from the actor's unique perspective.
