The Skivvies have just released a new music video for "Hardbody Hoedown" directed by best-selling Running with Scissors author Augusten Burroughs. Lauren Molina (Sweeney Todd, Rock of Ages, Marry Me A Little) and Nick Cearley (All Shook Up) makeup the wit-rock pop, underwear-clad duo The Skivvies, creating stripped down arrangements of popular rap, Hip-hop, and pop songs, using cello, ukulele, guitar, melodica, glockenspiel, often producing comedic results. "The mashups we've been doing at our live shows naturally led us to our parody single, 'Hardbody Hoedown,' where we give the filthiest rap the prettiest twang," says Cearley.

"Hardbody Hoedown" is a compilation of several raunchy songs about body parts. It is a NSFW video, as it contains explicit language. The song can be downloaded at iTunes, Bandcamp and Amazon.

The Skivvies next show will be at the Highline Ballroom, Monday, January 28, 2013, 8pm. With special guests Alice Ripley, Wesley Taylor, Adam Kantor, Leigh Ann Larkin, Joseph Morales, Mitchell Jarvis, and more. For tickets: http://highlineballroom.com/show/2013/01/28/the-skivvies/
