Marilyn Exposed, a new musical starring Romy Hansen as Marilyn Monroe, will be presented at Actors Temple Theatre in New York City, directed by Broadway veteran CB Murray.
Bangor's Penobscot Theatre Company is devoting the month of December to a jaunty, spirited production of the Lionel Bart musical, Oliver!. Directed/choreographed by Allison Bibicoff, production is clearly a labor of love, employing (for this theatre) a moderately large cast and the best of the company's current resources. Previously offered at a discount to subscribers alone, the tickets will be open for purchase through the box office or the theatre's website, regularly priced at $38 for adults and $15 for students. General adult admission to the preview performances December 1 and 2 will be $25 and $27 respectively.

Penobscot Theatre's Dramatic Academy students will perform a variety of plays they have developed while also attending classes and workshops. Over forty students have studied acting, voice, stage combat, dance, and clowning in order to share their new experiences with the community in a performance setting.
