The Time Out New York Lounge at New World Stages will present TITUSS AND THE TIGHTASS BAND, a special concert to benefit The Trevor Project, the leading national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.

Producers Randy Taradash and Martian Entertainment announced plans for a private reading of a newly revised script of bare, the award-winning rock musical that has garnered a worldwide fan base since its 2000 Los Angeles premiere. The reading will take place on November 1 in New York City.

Last night, August 16, The Broadway Boys took the stage at Birdland. Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, star of Stephen Sondheim's critically acclaimed Broadway musical revival, A Little Night Music, made his solo concert debut, 'I Happen to Like New York,' at NYC's premiere night club, Feinstein's at Loews Regency on Sunday, June 27th. The 6th Annual Broadway Unplugged Concert at The Town Hall took place on Monday, November 16th. The concert's musical director, for the sixth consecutive year, was Ross Patterson. Taking the helm as director was Scott Coulter.

Directed by Bill Berry with choreography by Patti Colombo, On the Town will run at the Millburn theater through December 6, 2009. On the Town is generously supported by a gift from The Ferolito Family.

Manu Narayan (Bombay Dreams on Broadway, subUrbia at Second Stage, The Love Guru starring Mike Myers) will star in the rock and roll vampire musical The Cure, running September 29th-October 11th at the American Theatre of Actors in the upcoming 2009 New York Musical Theatre Festival. Written by Mark Weiser, The Cure will feature direction from Elizabeth Lucas (Wild About Harry, The Last Starfighter, and The View From Here at NYMF), and is produced by The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Samantha Saltzman.

The Broadway Boys, a gathering of some of the best tenor voices on the Broadway stage are headed into the recording studio on October 1 to record their debut album. Produced by Michael McElroy, the CD is schedule to be available at concerts by late November. PS Classics will release the CD in stores in early winter.
