Kober, Herdlicka, Ford & More Headline CMU Alumni Event, 3/10

Broadway Sessions and TheBestArts.com are thrilled to present a CMU Alumni/Graduating Class concert event on March 10th. Alumni and students will celebrate and introduce the talents of the CMU musical theatre class of 2011. Alumni scheduled to perform include Sara Jean Ford (PHANTOM OF THE OPERA), Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC), Andrew Kober (HAIR), Zachary Prince (BABY IT'S YOU), Amanda Jane Cooper (with a new featured role in a famous Broadway national tour TBA), Zak Resnick (BARE), Nick Cosgrove (ENCORES! WHERE'S CHARLEY?), Daisy Hobbs, Skye Scott and Lora Lee Gayer. Several of the songs to be performed were written by CMU alumni, including Will Reynolds (THE GREENWOOD TREE) and the songwriting team of Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond (GOLDEN GATE).

CMU class of 2011 seniors performing include Gabrielle McClinton, Darren Bluestone, Kaleigh Cronin, Patrick Dillon Curry, Mimi Gianopulos, Lee Harrington, Nick Marcucci, Ryan Melia, Donovan Mitchell, Tess Primack, Sergi Robles, Kyle Rotter and Kailie Torres. Special thanks to Gabrielle McClinton for coordinating CMU senior performances. Other CMU alums, students and members of the musical theatre community are invited to sign up on-site to perform at the event.

TICKETS, DIRECTIONS & MORE INFO
There is no cover charge for this event and seating (except for scheduled performers) is general admission. Show begins at 11:00pm sharp; we highly recommend that audience members arrive by 10:30pm as the event is likely to reach capacity. The show takes place at The Midtown Theatre (163 west 46th street inside the HA! Comedy Club), an 18+ venue. There is a full bar plus snack menu available. Donations will be collected for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

ABOUT BROADWAY SESSIONS
Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games, comedy and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. It is hosted by Ben Cameron (WICKED, AIDA, FOOTLOOSE) and features composer/musical director Will Van Dyke on piano. The show takes place every Thursday evening at The Midtown Theater. Doors open at 10:30pm each week; post show musical theater open mic goes til 2 am.
