'Jack & Louisa: Act 1,' a fun-filled story of friendship set against the backdrop of musical theater, is released today, February 10, 2015. The novel is penned by Broadway performers Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Kate Wetherhead. The debut authors drew on their success of their web series, Submissions Only, when creating this middle grade crowd-pleaser. Klea Blackhurst (Radio Gals), Janet Dacal (Wonderland, In the Heights) and Tony Award nominee Tony Sheldon (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) were a part of the star studded cast that featured Tony Award nominee Douglas Sills (The Scarlet Pimpernel, Little Shop of Horrors) in the title role.

Abigail Shapiro, currently playing the lead role in Liberty: A Monumental New Musical and Milly Shapiro, a Tony Award Honoree/Grammy Award nominee for her work in the lead role of Matilda the Musical, known jointly as The Shapiro Sisters, will headline the 12.14 Foundation's Benefit Concert tonight, November 7, 2014 at 7:00 PM.
