Following his first solo stand-up album, Amazing, Probably, which went to number 3 in the iTunes Comedy Chart, Sid Singh returns to the Edinburgh Fringe to tear a strip off Silicon Valley's tech culture (yes, Apple included!), its pervasiveness in our lives and the sexism and racism that reigns in the Valley itself.

HBO has renewed the late-night series WYATT CENAC'S PROBLEM AREAS for a second season, it was announced today by Nina Rosenstein, executive vice president, HBO Programming.

The host of 'Wyatt Cenac's Problem Areas' might as well have received 'inconclusive' on his high school aptitude test. Watch the clip below!

Today, Freeform announced a pilot order for “Everything's Gonna Be Okay,” a half-hour comedy from “Please Like Me” creator, writer and comedian Josh Thomas. The pilot introduces Nicholas, a typical 25-year-old still living at home with his single dad and two teenage half-sisters, who is not particularly helpful in raising his siblings, one of which has autism. However, when their dad becomes terminally ill, the girls have to cope with not only a devastating loss but also the realization that Nicholas is the one who will have to hold it all together.

Natasha Vaynblat puts on a one-night only hybrid stand up/ character special. In this 90min show she'll jump from hard jokes to oddball characters and then back again.  From delivering jokes about her Russian upbringing to giving advice as a French doula, this show is a wild ride spanning genres. And Natasha has invited some of her favorite NYC comics to share the stage. Hosted by Ashley Brooke Roberts (Night Train with Wyatt Cenac) and featuring CJ Hunt (The Rundown with Robin Thede), Mary Cella (Little Old Lady Comedy), and Eric Gersen (UCB), it's a stand up special for people craving something beyond the everyday stand up special.

Vulture Festival, presented by AT&T, a weekend of high-profile events bringing the entertainment site Vulture to life, today announced additions to its 2018 lineup, celebrating the best of today's television, comedy, film, podcasts, and more. The pop-culture extravaganza includes panels, screenings, performances, and live podcast recordings, taking place May 19-20 at Milk Studios in New York City, with select events at other venues.

Starz, a Lionsgate company (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B), today announced the acquisition of several series and features that initially debuted on Seeso, the former comedy subscription streaming service, including 'Take My Wife' seasons 1 and 2, 'Night Train with Wyatt Cenac' and the 'Sklar Brothers: Hipster Ghosts' stand-up special.

This week, the popular podcast RISK! features Trevor Noah, Sarah Silverman, Kumail Nanjiani & Pete Holmes, Samantha Bee and Aubrey O'Day telling their true, personal stories they never thought they'd dare to share. The Story Collider celebrates eight years of science stories, hosted by Erin Barker and Ed Yong, and featuring Dr. Jo Handelsman, Arielle Duhaime-Ross, and Josh Gondelman, only at Caveat 21 A Clinton Street, Manhattan. Doors open at 7:00pm.

This Friday, HBO launches the late-night docu-series WYATT CENAC'S PROBLEM AREAS, which follows the Emmy®and WGA Award-winning comedian and writer as he explores America's most pressing issues. Kicking off its ten-episode season FRIDAY, APRIL 13 (11:30 p.m.-midnight ET/PT), the show is the latest addition to the network's slate of late-night talk/comedy series, joining “Real Time with Bill Maher” and “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.”
