CHURCHILL'S Ronald Keaton to Appear at Stamford's Palace Theatre Tonight

Ronald Keaton, star of the smash hit Off-Broadway play CHURCHILL, will appear along with the show's assistant director Tricia McDermott at the next 'Talk Series' event at The Palace Theatre in Stamford, CT tonight (Tuesday). The 'Talk Series' is a unique collaboration of The Palace Theatre, JCC Stamford and the 92nd Street Y. The discussion will begin at 7:30 PM and $25 tickets may be purchased through www.palacestamford.org. CHURCHILL, adapted and performed by Keaton, opened at New World Stages on February 18th to unanimous rave reviews led by CBS Radio which declared, 'Ronald Keaton evokes a transcendent greatness that was Winston Churchill! It's a one-man show that flies by!' Under the direction of Kurt Johns, CHURCHILL is based on the life and writings of one of the greatest wartime leaders of the 20th Century. CHURCHILL to Offer Actors Fund Benefit Performance This Weekend

The hit Off-Broadway play CHURCHILL will offer a special performance to benefit The Actors Fund this Sunday evening, May 17 at 7:30 PM. Tickets for The Actors Fund performance are donated by the producers, and can be purchased at http://www.actorsfund.org/performances-and-events/churchill. All proceeds from the sale of these select tickets to Sunday's performance will go to The Actors Fund, which helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment. John Lithgow in Talks to Join THE AUDIENCE-Based TV Series THE CROWN

The Daily Mail reports that John Lithgow is in negotiations to join the Netflix series THE CROWN, based on Peter Morgan's THE AUDIENCE. He would play Winston Churchill for the TV adaptation, helmed by Stephen Daldry, alongside Harriet Walter as Churchill's wife, Clementine.
